History of Impartation Worship Center

After much prayer, reflection, and seeking the will of God, Minister Phyllis Kennedy discerned that the time had come to fully obey the call of God upon her life. With faith and courage, she stepped forward to establish a ministry that would become a place of worship, impartation, and spiritual growth.

With the loving support of family and friends, the office space that Minister Kennedy had previously used for her personal ministry was transformed into a sanctuary dedicated to the work of the Lord. What began as a simple step of obedience soon became the foundation of a growing ministry. The church was established at 3724 FM 1960, Suite #115, Houston, Texas 77068.

Through divine inspiration, Minister Kennedy named the ministry Impartation Worship Center (IWC), reflecting the heart of the church—to release spiritual impartation through worship, teaching, and the presence of God. The guiding theme of the ministry became “Faith Walkers,” rooted in the scripture 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

On March 18, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., Impartation Worship Center held its first official worship service, with Minister Kennedy serving as the acting pastor. On that very day, 11 individuals joined the ministry, marking the beginning of a vibrant and growing spiritual family.

Committed to reaching the community beyond the church walls, Impartation Worship Center held its first evangelism outreach on June 10, 2017, ministering and witnessing to individuals in the community at a nearby Walmart. This outreach reflected the ministry’s heart for spreading the Gospel and engaging people where they are.

The very next day, June 11, 2017, the church celebrated continued growth as six additional members joined the ministry. As the church developed, Tuesday night Bible Study was also introduced, creating a space for deeper teaching, discipleship, and spiritual development.

A significant milestone came on June 16, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., when Minister Phyllis Kennedy was officially installed as the Senior Pastor of Impartation Worship Center. The installation service was officiated by Archbishop Thomas Wallace of New Oasis Kingdom Assembly Church, affirming the divine call and leadership placed upon her life.

From its humble beginnings to its growing impact, Impartation Worship Center was founded on faith, obedience, and a passion for worship and the Word of God. The ministry continues to stand as a testament to what God can do when one answers His call and walks forward in faith.
